Sometimes I get caught up in the traveling cycle and I forget to go visit a friend’s local shop to see what’s up. Calvin Customs is a customizing shop that is in the heart of Salina on Santa Fe Ave located in a former dealership from the 50’s & 60’s. Except for this last year when there was a scheduling conflict owner Calvin Calp has been gracious enough to open the doors to the shop for the entire crew on the Mid Decembrrrr Run so usually I have at least 1 shop visit post a year based on that. Lately I just have not been by there enough.
Thanks again Calvin for meeting me down at the shop on a Saturday to show me around. Everyone go bookmark Calvin Customs as their site should be updated soon to show some new projects, don’t forget to come to the party at Calvin’s shop on Friday night of the big KKOA Leadsled Spectacular weekend.
