For the second year in a row I trekked down to Lamar, MO for the Old Geezer Show. A small town with a small show that’s big on quality and awesome people. A horrible forecast kept the attendance down a bit but what was there was pretty great.
The first order of business was to spend some quality time with my friends at the hotel. We ate, we drank, we told lies and bench raced, it was an amazing evening. Then I went out to the parking lot and took a few night shots.
Saturday morning it was time to head down to the show. The small town atmosphere is perfect for the show, the business district is the town square and the show has that entire area to fill, although it’s only taking up about 1/3 of the space available. There is a lot of room to expand the show and with the people that are showing up now there are lots of reasons to attend in the future.
