Once the rain stopped and I was working my way around the park, I spotted a couple of amazing rides. The 36 Ford I showed at the end of yesterday’s coverage and this Willys were 2 of them.
This 33 Ford caught my eye immediately.

Once the rain went away the Affordable Street Rods booth was set up to sell some shirts. They will have a huge booth full of parts this coming weekend at the Goodguys show in Nashville, TN.
Maybe my favorite car of the show, as you can tell by the fact that I couldn’t stop taking photos.
There were two artist booths at the show. Didn’t know either of them and both had some amazing work on display.
Not too far east of Liberal is this still in use rail road bridge, it’s nearly 100 years old now. The city just beyond the bridge was moved when they found a huge natural gas reserve that was seeping up into the houses. Odd trivia for you.
I tried to stop and capture an image of the sun breaking through the late day storm clouds, but when I pulled over the horizon didn’t look as good as this 65mph into the mirror shot.
With low level clouds heading west and upper level ones heading east it was an interesting evening in western KS.
