6 years ago I decided that I needed to organize a fun run. When would I do it? The schedule was full already through most of the year. I decided to do the run in December and Mickey from Stray Kat Kustoms suggested Decembrrrr Run as the name. That first year lived up to the brrrr part as it was about 13 degrees with a cold wind.
This year we gathered up in Gypsum, KS and drove to Wichita, KS. We stopped at Devlin Rod & Custom and Soft Strip along with a lunch stop. It was a blast! Here are some photos of the day!
After the Devlin stop we headed out to Soft Strip to check out the media blasting company. At some point all of us car folks need something media blasted. I recommend these guys. I didn’t take the camera inside so I neglected to get any photos from that visit. We had scheduled a final stop at a private garage but the owner was very sick and we all decided that we didn’t want to be. Get well soon Jack!
So, if you decide that folks in your area need something fun to do in their cars besides a show, make up your own run. This one has been a blast for the last 6 years and continues to be so!
See you at a show,
