My plan was to take my Galaxie for it’s third trip to be a part of the SWMO Hot Rod Hundred, but after not touching the car for the last couple of months while I worked on the book, the battery was DEAD. Even my jump start battery couldn’t get the car started. So I hopped in the daily driver and made my way down to Joplin, finally getting a room around 10:30. I opened my laptop and worked on the book until about 12:30am, 6am would come all too soon.
More of the story tomorrow.
The coverage of the 2018 Southwest Missouri Hot Rod Hundred is brought to you by the CrossMembers CC, the purveyors of the Hot Rod Hundred events. The HRH’s are 100ish mile fun runs that I’ve been lucky enough to take part in a few times. Get more info at hotrodhundred.com
