After catching some shots about two miles from the start point I hopped in my daily driver and got on the interstate and leap frogged around the group to station myself at the Spencer Route 66 station. My buddy Quentin Brown was already there so I moved down to this old bridge on the route just up the road. The rain was falling gently when I got perched precariously on the side of the bridge but it wasn’t enough to keep me from shooting an image of every single car that was on the run.
The coverage of the 2018 Southwest Missouri Hot Rod Hundred is brought to you by the CrossMembers CC, the purveyors of the Hot Rod Hundred events. The HRH’s are 100ish mile fun runs that I’ve been lucky enough to take part in a few times. Get more info at hotrodhundred.com
