Since there was no show this weekend I went down to Tulsa, OK to shoot some feature videos for the upcoming MotorNation.tv channel. After that I headed over to the Joplin area to see what Ryno was up to. The Sharer Merc was up on the lift so that he could install the new 52 Mercury headlight rings and french the headlights behind them.

While I was there Ryno did the passenger side ring and I filmed it for a tech video. It’s fun to watch a true craftsman work.

The plan is use some Desoto teeth for the grill. Those teeth usually come with the bottom pan from the Desoto, these did not, so what you see on the right is a panel that Ryno has mocked up as a possible solution to fill the gap. The final panel will be rolled and not broke if this route is chosen.
