I was bummed I missed last years Showdon. I appreciate what they have done to bring such a show to the area. You and others made it sound so much like the Austin Revolution shows, and I aim to be there to spectate this year and see for myself.
If you stop in Ft. Worth on the way down you might look at taking Highway 281 to Wimberly and missing the I 35 chaos. Much more scenic too. Plus you have shops Like Martins Rod and Custom and Hammerfab along the way to distract you if you allow the time.
