2 Videos of the 2024 Lonestar Round Up Coverage!

Seriously, where do I begin? I’ve only missed one Lonestar Round Up since I started attending them, it’s become a must attend event for me. Over the years the LSRU has become more than a car show, it’s a place where I get to see friends from all over the country, some of which I won’t see again until the next year.

My buddy Dan showed up at my house Wednesday evening and we rolled out early Thursday for Austin. Pulling his 40 Zephyr convertible with a new Carson top, split windshield and interior in his trailer we headed south for the  560 mile trip down deep into the heart of Texas.

We got there just in time to pick up our registration packets, I say packets because I was supposed to drive my Galaxie down but I just didn’t get it running. So instead I got to spend the ride talking with a good friend about all sorts of good stuff.

Friday morning we unloaded his car and got it situated in the show, then immediately headed in to the swap meet. He found some goodies that he couldn’t live without and I spent some time catching up with some good friends that I hadn’t seen in too long.

From there… well the videos below tell the story.  The first one is from Friday and the 2nd one is from Saturday. If for some reason you don’t see them below, click here.

I hope you enjoyed the coverage, I hope you decide to get out to some car shows this year. Whether you’re in your car or not, go see some friends, make some friends, support the businesses that support this hobby/lifestyle. Enjoy life while we can!

See you at a show,

Royboy
