In this episode Royboy interviews Ryno of Ryno Built Rod & Customs. Hear about all the cool stuff going on in his shop, the unique job that he does when he’s not building cars and a special offer from Royboy.
Since I hadn’t been to RJay’s Speed Shop before I made sure to check the facilities out while we were there. They build a bunch of their own parts that then get sold to other retailers and they carry just about everything that it takes to build your hot rod.
The show was titled Burnouts For Brice, the facebook event page had this to say: “We will be having a benefit car show for Brice Eidson who is a great young boy fighting leukemia. All proceeds will go to help cover hospital cost. So come out and have a great time.”
In total near 100 cars showed up and raised nearly $2000. RJay’s made a small burnout pad of concrete and a few of the show goers pulled up to see what kind of clouds they could produce.
Finally Episode 3 is ready! Changing up the format a bit for this one, I stripped away the intro and just left the feature. Way back in 2012 I shot this video at RynoBuilt’s shop in SW Missouri. Since then the truck was finished, we shot it for a magazine and it was featured as the February 2014 cover on Classic Trucks Magazine (order a copy here).
Thanks Ryno for letting me shoot the truck for the magazine and for this video! Everyone go follow Ryno on Facebook to keep up to date on what he’s working on.
A couple of years ago I came up with the idea to do car features in video form. For some of you that have been following for awhile, you’ve seen these before. For the new folks take a few minutes and hopefully enjoy!
The concept is simple, get the car owner on camera telling the story of the ride. Unfortunately it is a time consuming process and time is what I don’t have much of. So…. there are 2 to date. I am planning on releasing a 3rd one next week (a year after I meant to release it). And hopefully more will follow. Feature videos are the perfect way to capture your memories of your favorite ride to remember for the rest of your life and pass on to future generations.
This is an experiment. I’m looking for feedback on the idea. I just threw this together but if you like it, I could do them more often for some of the shows. Leave your feedback below.
Go check out all of the Mad Fabricator videos featured on their Youtube page.
You can even see a little glimpse of me in the background of the segment where Bob Bleed is walking around the 2011 Hot Rod Revolution with a camera talking about the cars that he digs.
Check it out, buy it, support independent hot rod and kustom filmmakers.
It’s been awhile since I’ve released a new video. I have the footage shot for 2 more but I’m waiting to time their release with those vehicles feature articles in magazines. Until then and for the new people here are the first two.
Episode 1 is all about the car that is featured in the Limited Edition Poster #1. Episode 1:Jack Marinelli tells the story behind his historic hot rod. A 29 Model A on 32 frame with a 46 drivetrain, this hot rod was build in the mid 50’s and sits today almost exactly the way it did then. This car is no enclosed trailer princess that sits in a museum, it is driven, and driven like it’s stolen. Music by Pushrod www.pushrodengage.com This episode sponsored by www.straykatkustoms.com
Episode 2: Jeff Myers (owner of Premier Body & Paint in Arkansas City, KS) takes us for a ride in his Custom 63 Galaxie and tells the story of the car and it’s build. Music by The Rumblejetts www.rumblejetts.com
More videos on the way as the vehicles near their publication dates! Stay tuned and I’ll see you at a show!
